The Poetics of Arnold

or, What My Poetry Would be Like If it Were Written by Schwarzie

Sinews of syntax! Ringing, true rhyme!

Strong cadences to square off each line!

Meter like bullets that shoot from a Glock!

Nouns with terse meaning, verbs that can shock!

Phrases of steel grab the reader and shake him!

If he will not read it, my language will make him!

And after the reader has throroughly read

If he does not agree, the poem shoots him dead!
